Back and Ready to Rock and Roll

The Re-release of USM's 35800DWW

In response to customer requests, Union Special has brought back the high capacity, mechanical drive puller 35800DWW styles. These extra high feed lift, differential feed lapseamers are companion styles to the very popular belt driven puller 35800BWW. So if you lapseam heavy weight materials, you now have a choice of mechanical or belt drive to sew extra heavy weight materials.

The 35800DWW includes all of the recent improvements made to the current 35800 series, including the one-piece head with larger diameter needle bar and needle head, improved presser bar guiding system, and blue/white color scheme.

The features of the 35800DWW include:

  • Mechanical driven upper roller puller, with .588" (14.9mm) wide steel standard tooth roller, for feeding and pulling extra-heavy material with ease.

  • Extra-high .130" (3.3mm) feed lift, combined with a feed dog with raised front teeth to provide extra pull-in of the material to the needles.

35800DWW Features (Cont'd):

  • Differential feed to help match plies.

  • .094" (2.38mm) stepped sewing parts and a wide presser foot with groove for guiding the seam to the roller.

  • 1/8" capacity spring-loaded folder for precision folding and lapping of the material plies.

  • 8 or 9 gauge needle spacing.

  • Speeds up to a maximum of 4500SPM.

To make your 35800DWW even more versatile, you can order as optional (see below): a wide smooth polyurethane roller 35826DZ, a wide steel reversed tooth roller 35826CB, a 5/32" capacity spring loaded folder 23420AY18-5/32 or a pneumatic chain cutter AS15-38. The 35800DWW is easily attached to your current pedestal, or you can order a new pedestal 1400CA and motor hood 1455M, or even a complete workstation with pedestal, with 3 ph, 60hz, 220volt clutch motor, motor hood, light and accessories WS42800ST4H1.
