The
Favorite Hemmer for Jean Legs Now for Casual Slacks Too!
Makers of casual and work slacks can sew a quality 1" (25.4mm) leg hem
with the new 63900ATZ. The folder provided with the machine produces a
folded down hem on medium to heavy weight Wovens and Knits. Excellent
material control is maintained by the 1" wide presser foot and top &
bottom continuous feed rollers.

63900ATZ is a cylinderbed lockstitch machine with a standard capacity

Two
styles are available, depending on the pedestal installation desired:

The
63900ATZ57 is the machine described above, set up to fit a Union Special
D1400 pedestal (purchased separately, pictured below). Generally, this
is a basic installation with no work aids, powered by clutch motor.

The
63900ATZ957M is also the machine described above, set up to fit Union
Special Workstation WS639PES06M162 (purchased separately). This machine
has a Clinton thread trimmer, pneumatic presser foot lift, and pneumatic
folder opener. These work aids operate in conjunction with the
workstation, and are complemented by the adjustable, ergonomic
workstation pedestal. Machine is powered by the compact DC motor of the
workstation.
