DLN6390 & 63900 Updates

Hemming Lightweight Casual Slacks Just Became Easier

Sewing a 1" hem on casual slacks has always been done by hand-folding the hem and then sewing it down---a laborious operation with inconsistent results. Now, you can sew this wide hem easily and consistently with three new parts for DLN-6390 and 63900 machines from Union Special Machine Company.

The new parts are:

  1. An adjustable 1" turned down hemmer, part number K74935, with an opener that allows the hemmer to be opened at the end of the seam so the hem can be completely sewn down.

  2. A wide, fine-knurled upper roller, part number K74944, for better feeding and less chance for marking the material.

  3. A wide, fine-knurled lower roller, part number K74945, also for better feed-ing with less chance of marking.

These items are available through your local Juki Union Special distributor.
