For Lapseaming, Pocket Facing and Belt Loops

Union Special Corp. gives you more machines for sewing denim with the release of these two and three needle chainstitch styles. Operations performed by these high speed, high capacity flatbeds include double lap seaming, attaching pockets facings, and sewing belt loops.

Three new subclasses of true double lap seamer are introduced here. All are plain feed, high capacity and available with an optional chain cutter—the pneumatic CC2 Air Klipp^®.

These subclasses are as follows:

• L51—Two-Needle with a "Compact Tractor"-type presser foot. The sewing parts are designed for chaining between pieces.

• L52—Two- or Three-Needle with a "Tractor"-type presser foot. The flat sewing parts are designed for chaining.

• L53—Three-Needle with a "Tractor" type presser foot. The sewing parts have a .070" (1.75mm) step to the right of the needles, and are designed for chaining.
