New Sewn-In Crease
Machine for Slacks

Uniform manufacturers have a new machine for sewing permanent– or military–type creases: the Union Special® FS321X01–2A20Z3. This machine sews a cordless crease on a variety of light to medium weight woven and knit fabrics. Garments using this type of sewn–in crease include shirts and slacks for military and law enforcement, retail and medical uniforms, ski pants and gloves.

The FS321X01–2A20Z3 has two-needles with a 2.0mm (5/64") gauge. A cording groove in the bottom of the presser foot works with a tuck former on the throat plate and creates a 1/8" (3.17mm) height tucked seam.
