Designed especially for flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC) "big bag" manufacturing, the 80700CD2 is a two- needle, four thread double locked stitch machine. It features an electro-pneumatic pressure/lifter mechanism for the presser foot and upper feed dog. With a sewing capacity of up to 18mm (45/64"), this machine will sew heavy weight jute, burlap and woven polypropylene materials.

The Smart Choice for Sewing Big Bags

The 80700CD2 is a practical, versatile solution for sewing big bags. Since it has lower and alternating upper (top and bottom) feed, evenly matched seaming is no problem. Belt bands may be attached during seaming operations, and side seams or belts are easily crossed over. When installed on the pedestal, the 80700CD2 is especially suited for attaching fill and discharge spouts, and inserting top covers. Filler cord can be guided from the top and/or bottom as needed for sealing left needle punctures. The machine may be operated as a single needle style by simply removing the right needle.
