1. Check for shake or binds in the looper drive mechanism and reset or replace as necessary.
     

  2. Remove all sewing parts and clean out any lint, thread or other debris from this area. This can be done by using compressed air a small brush or rag. A build up of debris in this area can cause excess heat or binding of the machine. Excess debris can cause parts to wear prematurely, and sewing problems.
     

  3. With compressed air or a small brush clean the take-up area of any lint or debris. This area should be cleaned one or two times a day depending on operation.  Note this area must be cleaned before step #8 to avoid debris in the oil line.
     

  4. Remove the small oil filter located to the left of the machine and clean it thoroughly with compressed air or small brush.  Note this filter should be cleaned often to avoid possible oil build up in the take-up area
