36200 THREAD Needle, looper and spreader thread handling can be improved on the Union Special 36200 style machines with new thread guide assembly 36266A. Due to strong air currents that occur in factories, the sewing thread may frequently whip and twist together. This can create skipped or malformed stitches, or even thread breakage. By using the new optional thread guide assembly, the distance between the thread stand and the tensions is shortened, thereby greatly reducing the chance of whipping and twisting. This eyelet assembly can be easily attached to the existing tension assembly with the screws provided, and is adaptable to all styles of the 36200 machines currently being used. |
