1. Using the cast-off plate holder as a handle rotate the looper drive module clockwise or counter clockwise until the looper drive belt has approximately a 3.2 mm deflection. The handle can be repositioned by loosening it’s holding screw.  Secure the two screws in the eccentric retaining plate.

  1. Loosen the first screw in operating direction in the looper drive sprocket, move the drive sprocket left or right as necessary (without leaving the flat) until the belt rides centered on the driven sprocket. Resecure the first screw in the drive sprocket onto its flat on the shaft, then secure the other screw in the sprocket. Rotate the hand wheel several times to insure the belt remains centered on the driven sprockets.

  1. Place the take-up cam back onto the looper drive assembly, but do not secure the screws at this time.

  1. Reassemble the cast-off plate assembly to the cast-off plate holder. secure both screws.

  1. Align the take-up cam within the cast-off plate assembly. Secure both screws in the take-up cam. Rotate the hand wheel several times to insure no rubbing between the cam and the plate occurs. Reassemble all covers to the machine.

NOTE: Retiming or "synchronization" of the looper and needle will be necessary at this time.  ALL other adjustments should be rechecked.
