On July 18th, 2006, JUKI Corporation President Mr. Kazuyuki Nakamura spoke to Union Special employees at a ceremony observing the 125th anniversary date of the incorporation of Union Special. Mr. Harunobu Ono, Chairman of Union Special Corporation, was also on hand to participate.

Mr. Nakamura thanked employees for a successful last year, and challenged the employees to set higher goals. He stressed the need to demonstrate responsibility not only to customers but to the community and environment as well. Mr. Nakamura presented an award to Mr. Terry Hitpas, President of Union Special Corp., in commemoration of the day, and honoring the hard work of its employees.
